{"id":23249,"date":"2024-01-22T11:44:41","date_gmt":"2024-01-22T10:44:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/w139.nl\/event\/sonic-acts-opening\/"},"modified":"2024-02-22T00:16:14","modified_gmt":"2024-02-21T23:16:14","slug":"sonic-acts-opening","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/w139.nl\/en\/event\/sonic-acts-opening\/","title":{"rendered":"Opening Sonic Acts 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"\n\n\n<p>On&nbsp;Friday 30 September&nbsp;we celebrate the launch of Sonic Acts Biennial 2022 \u2013 warmly inviting you to the opening of our exhibition one sun after another at&nbsp;W139, Amsterdam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In conversation with the works exhibited, the evening includes interventions by researchers, artists and performers, each responding in turn to the porous and cumulative ways toxicity traverses across micro and macro experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The evening questions how encounters with extraction, leakage and pollution might be rendered palpable \u2014 an interactive open lab by artist\u00a0Cesar Majorana\u00a0and tasting sessions by designer\u00a0Leanne Wijnsma\u00a0employing sensory experiences to illuminate environmental issues so often designated as invisible.
